Kazakh PM demands faster border checkpoint upgrades after construction delays

ASTANA. Aug 14 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov on Thursday criticized delays in modernizing border checkpoints with Kyrgyzstan and demanded contractors accelerate work during an inspection of two key crossings, the government said.
