Almaty akim orders investigation into asphalt collapses, theft of granite slabs

ALMATY. Sept 19 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Akim of Almaty, Darkhan Satybaldy, has ordered an internal investigation into the cases of asphalt collapses on Amanzhol and Yassaui streets in the Auеzov district, the washing out of a trench in the Yermensai microdistrict, and the theft of granite slabs from the Ulken Almaty embankment in the Bostandyk district, the press service of the city akimat reported on Friday.
