SCO counterterrorism agencies prevent over 1,400 crimes in 2024

DUSHANBE. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Special services of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states prevented more than 1,400 terrorist and extremist crimes and detained over 2,000 militants in 2024, the director of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, Ularbek Sharsheyev, said.
