Turkistan veterinary officials arrested in 1 billion tenge embezzlement case

ALMATY. March 30 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Four current and former officials of a state-owned veterinary enterprise in the Turkistan region, Kazakhstan, have been arrested on suspicion of embezzling nearly 1 billion tenge through a scheme involving falsified payment orders, prosecutors said Saturday.
