Construction of $1.4 bln wind farm begins in Zhambyl region

ASTANA. June 29 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) -- Construction of a 1-gigawatt wind power plant has begun in Kazakhstan's Zhambyl region, with the project developed in partnership with UAE-based Masdar, Samruk-Kazyna's press service said.
