Kyrgyzstan sets up commission to probe widespread power outages

BISHKEK. Aug 17 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kyrgyzstan's cabinet chief has ordered an investigation into a series of power outages across the country, criticizing what he called negligence by energy officials and contractors, the government press service said Monday.
