Kazakhstan creating digital database of World War II veterans

ASTANA. May 8 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan is carrying out a project called Batyrlarga Tagzym (Bow to the Heroes) aimed to digitize archival records of Kazakh citizens conscripted into the Red Army between 1938 and 1945, the Defense Ministry said.
