Kyrgyzstan launches 1st phase of solar power station with total 1,900-megawatt-peak capacity

BISHKEK. June 16 (Interfax) - Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has attended a launch ceremony for the first phase of a ROX Issyk-Kul 175-megawatt-peak (mwp) solar power plant built with Vietnamese support, the president's press service said in a statement on Sunday.
